Great Place

My wife and I just stayed here and we were beyond impressed! Rooms in the Squirrel House, are all new and look better than rooms at the Hyatt our room had a great view of the lake and mountains. There are new gas grills and tables in the common areas. We grilled out each night and had dinner outside overlooking the lake. The staff is amazing, they were very friendly and took great care of us while we were there, absolutely coming back!

Great location, great value, great service

This is an older hotel that is in the midst of upgrades. Some of the rooms are brand new and are very nice. Some of the rooms have some updates and are very suitable. And some of the rooms still need some updates. We stayed in a room with a king and bunk beds that still needs some updates. The bunk beds were in a separate room which our boys loved. The bathroom was big, just older as was the bedroom with the king. It was clean. One window was missing a screen and another screen didn’t fit properly. We’ve also stayed in a room with two queens that had some updates in bathroom and a nice fridge and microwave. It was spacious, clean and comfortable, furnishings are just a bit older. Neither room had very many outlets or good lighting. We didnt stay in the squirrel house but saw one of the rooms and it was beautiful and very new. The beach across the street is a great one, very sandy, not rocky, and borrowing the hotel kayak was great fun. The hotel pool is very cold but boys didn’t mind – think the lake was warmer! Service at hotel was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay again. Older rooms are a great deal. If you want newer rooms just be sure to ask when you book.
